Laura Macrì is in the metalworld know as a part of MaYaN

In the opera world her reach and fame is even bigger.
She sang in all the big concert halls of the world, did several worldtours with (amongst others Andrea Bocceli) and was selected last year to enter the Pavarotti foundation.

Her lifelong dream however was to make a solo album.
This dream became reality in april of this year.
In collaboration with Sacha Paeth (Avantasia) and Joost van den Broek (Ellen ten Damme, Kovacks) her debut solo album Terra was born.

She states: “This album is a dream coming true, I could finally put my w犀利士
hole heart and soul in the lyrics. I can use my voice in a way that really fits my personality. The lyrics were inspired by personal experiences: about friendships, grief and also some
deeper philosophical themes”.

Laura Macri wordt sinds jonge leeftijd gezien als groot opera talent in haar eigen land Italië. Hierdoor heeft ze de kans gehad om al meerdere keren over de wereld te touren met onder andere Andrea Bocelli. Naast de berg aan opera prijzen die ze inmiddels in haar kast heeft staan; heeft Laura altijd een droom gehad; een album maken waar klassieke muziek en popmuziek samenkomen. Deze droom is in april van dit jaar werkelijkheid geworden en op 24 november bij ons te bewonderen in het theater!
